TMNT parodies…

If you were / are a Copper Age Comic collector, good chance you’re familiar with how Eastman & Laird derived TMNT. From Wikipedia:

…the young artists self-published a single issue comic intended to parody four of the most popular comics of the early 1980s: Marvel Comics’ Daredevil and New Mutants, Dave Sim’s Cerebus, and Frank Miller’s Ronin.

And then of course with the huge success of Turtles, came the (intentional) knock-offs. Essentially parodies of a parody, permutations on “teenage,” “mutant,” etc. Below are the ones I brainstormed (by not means all inclusive), as well as an entertaining review of 1991′s Battletoads for Nintendo…
